holidaysaudi.com is an independent travel guide to Saudi Arabia, written in English and Arabic. We cover the Kingdom's cities, heritage sites, deserts, mountains and coast, its food and culture, and the practical side of a trip, from the eVisa and getting around to what to wear and the best time to go. We also look across the borders at neighbours such as the UAE, Bahrain and Jordan.

Independent, not official

holidaysaudi.com is not affiliated with the Saudi Tourism Authority, visitsaudi.com, the Ministry of Tourism or any other government body, airline or tourism company. For official information, such as visa applications, always use official sources like visa.visitsaudi.com, and for Umrah the Nusuk platform.

Why we made this guide

Saudi Arabia opened to leisure tourism in 2019 and has changed remarkably fast since. New resorts, museums, events, train lines and rules appear every year, so much of the information online is outdated, written for business travellers only, or hard to trust. We want to give you clear, current and practical answers, in English and in Arabic, so you can spend less time searching and more time enjoying the trip.

How we work

Our content is written and maintained by the holidaysaudi.com team. We check facts against official and reliable sources, such as government portals, the Royal Commission for AlUla, transport operators and the businesses themselves, and we update pages when rules or prices change. We do not publish fake reviews or invented quotes. Read more in our editorial policy.

How we are funded

The guide is free to use. Some links on the site are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we write or recommend. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

Spotted something out of date, or have a tip we should know about? We would love to hear from you via our contact page. Ahlan wa sahlan, and welcome to Saudi Arabia.
